Zip were kindly invited back for the seventh and final edition of Secret 7”. The exhibition took place at the NOW Gallery in North Greenwich with all the sleeves to be auctioned off after and proceeds going to Choose Love – Help Refugees.
Each year Secret 7” take seven songs from seven well known musicians and press 700 copies to 7” vinyl. Creatives from around the world are invited to interpret the songs in their own style and the finished sleeves are then sold with the proceeds going to the chosen charity. This year the exhibition featured work from the likes of Anish Kapoor, Tacita Dean, Lotte Andersen, Stanley Donwood and wide variety of designers, illustrators, and artists.
The songs we picked this year were:
Aretha Franklin – One Step Ahead
Bob Dylan – Blind Willie McTell
Foo Fighters – This Is A Call
