Back around 2006 we created a super fun campaign for a new hip hop act who were about to break through and take the UK by storm. We never imagined what would become of them. The BBC recently feature a documentary “The Great Hip Hop Hoax” by award winning filmmaker Jeanie Finlay as part of it’s Storyville season. It’s an amazing story and well worth watching (if it’s still on iPlayer), we loved working on the original artwork and it was fascinating to learn who Silibil N Brains really were. The artwork and illustrations created by Neil Bowen at Zip feature through out the film.
